On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the Port Allen Marina Center to board a modern 65 ft (19 m) catamaran that will take us to discover the untamed beauty of Kauai.
Once we set sail, the crew will greet us with the Aloha hospitality and offer a refreshing drink to start our journey north and west. Throughout the sail, you'll need to keep your eyes peeled to spot the fascinating local maritime fauna, such as spinner dolphins, green sea turtles, and even, if we're lucky, humpback whales.
During the cruise, you'll be amazed by the stunning cliffs standing at 3,937 ft (1,200 m) tall, the sharp, cathedral-like spires, the deep emerald valleys, and the sea caves that shape this uninhabited coastline. As you take the best keepsake pictures, the crew will share the fascinating cultural history of the area and the legends of thousands of people who inhabited these lands centuries ago.
We'll serve you a delicious buffet-style dinner on board, made with fresh ingredients from the island, which include typical dishes like teriyaki chicken, kalua pork with cabbage, rice, salad, and dessert. To accompany the menu, you'll have an open bar of artisanal beer, wine, soft drinks, and the house cocktail: the Koloa Rum Ginger Mai Tai.
To end the experience on a high note, we'll toast all together on the deck as you see how the sun hides behind the horizon of the Pacific Ocean. It's one of the best sunsets in Kauai!
Finally, after 4.5 hours of sailing, we'll say our goodbyes at the starting port.
