On the day of the activity, we'll meet at Club Náutico Dos Mares, in La Manga del Mar Menor. Once everyone's arrived, we'll kick off this unforgettable kayak tour of the Mar Menor. Get ready to explore volcanic landscapes of enormous environmental value!
After going over the safety guidelines, we'll grab our kayak gear and start paddling across the waters of Europe's largest saltwater lagoon. Pretty impressive, right?
Along the way, we'll head toward the Mar Menor's 3 smallest islands: Isla del Ciervo, Isla del Sujeto, and Isla Redonda. First, we'll paddle to Cala del Pino, the perfect spot to get comfortable with the calm waters of this area.
As we approach these 3 islets, we'll learn about the volcanic origins of this protected area, along with its huge environmental value and local history. We'll also pick up some fun facts about the other 2 islands, Isla Mayor (or Isla del Barón) and Isla Perdiguera, which we'll be able to spot in the distance!
After a full kayak tour, we'll head back to the starting point, where we'll say our goodbyes on dry land 2.5 hours later.
